| .::What is Islam?::. | |||
|
| |||
|
| |||
| The concept of God | |||
| Islam proclaims the purest form of monotheism. | |||
| God is the unique God | |||
| He is indivisible and has no one next to him. He is incomparable and nothing is even similar to him. Nothing happens without his will. He is the first, the last, the eternal, the almighty, the all-knowing. He is the creator and sustainer of all things. He is the just, the merciful, the beneficial, the loving, the kind, the exalted, praiseworthy, the truthful. He is the possessor and owner of all perfect attributes | |||
| All these and further more attributes of God, mentioned in the Quran must have been looked at in a balanced way without one attribute being reduced for the favor of another or is being over emphasized for the disadvantage of another because God alone has attributed himself with all these names. | |||
| The unity of religions | |||
| Islam points out the common source ot all monotheistic religions. According itīs teachings is the human mind although itīs great possibilities limited to some frontiers which it can not pass through excat nor empirical science. So the secure source about the final thruths are lying beyond theses frontiers and the only source which is open to humans is the godly relevation which was open to him scince his creation. | |||
| The propheten of the one God during history in each country and in each community and brought humans the commandments of God. | |||
| |||
| The final godly relevation which was brought to humans by the final prophet Muhammad corrects and completes all other relevations which were changed by human weakness. Only this final message is scientifically proven to be unchanged aviable to mankind until this day. | |||
| All prophets from Adam over Abraham, Moses Jesus up to Muhammad are the prophet, in whom every muslim believes and whom he loves regardless of any differences. | |||
| All godly relevations, from Thora over the pslam and the gospels are relevations of the one God, but the Quran is the final relevation which has remained pure in comaprisson to the other relevations. | |||
| The final relavation therfore has not only the knwoledge to access paradies but also everything what Humans need to live a live which is pleasant for God. | |||
| The Unity of the Message | |||
| Islam teaches tlhe unity of all mankind. | |||
| It points out that differences according race, skin, language etc. could never base claims of superiority of one group against another one. | |||
| The single real difference between humans is being located on the mental spiritual level which means the differenciation according to rightousness and the fearing of God. | |||
| The unity of the way of live | |||
| Islam is an all-inclusive way of living covering all kinds of human existing and is in basically agreement with nature, itsī laws and itīs obligations. | |||
| Islam is the turnes into praxis knowledge of the existence of God, the trueness of the prophets , the books , the angels and the life after death. | |||
| Islam teaches that every human is in direct contact with God without an intervention of a priest | |||
| A muslim is one who follows the laws of God whith the right Intention in all aspects of life. | |||
| The islamic community is one which is striving to turn the Will of God to come to reality. | |||
| |||
| The common sense | |||
| Islam considers the comon sense as one significant sign of humanity and as one Gift of God. It is the reason for the responsibility of humans before God and at the same time a guideance in all situations of life. | |||
| Because Islam gives so much space to common sence there is no space for mystical cults. | |||
| Islam and science | |||
| Islam makes the search for knowledge to duty for every muslim. | |||
| It goes that far that scientific work bekomes a kind of religious service. | |||
| In constant plea the Quran demands from mankid to explore nature so that he can recognise Godīs existence and his charecterisitcs. In the Quran the muslim finds the basics and guidelines for scientific research. | |||
| The only limitation on that field is that the exploration can never be the goal but has always to be one way for developing human advances and for fullfillment of moral aspects. | |||
| The goals of Islam | |||
| Islam deals not only with life in hereafter but also focus in the same way to the present life. | |||
| Moral perfection, sozial advance, economic justice, inter human love and mercy, political reasonablility and peace are goals which Islam tries to bring into existence in order to establish true human happyness. | |||
| The duties of muslims | |||
| Islam orders to muslims to declare that there is only one God and that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is his final messenger. | |||
| Islam demands from the believer further more the daily prayer. Beside the cleaning of the body also the the cleaining of the soul is being achieved. | |||
| The spending of 2,5 % of your possesing (Zakat) is not only a factor of the social system of islam but also a way of spiritual ease because it should only be paid because of the believe in God. | |||
| The ordered fasting in the month of Ramadan gives the believer more than a way of self discipline. | |||
| The pilgramige to Mecca finally let the beliver feel the true surrenderness to God, the ability of sacrifition and the brotherhood of muslims all over the world. | |||
| Beside these five main duties, which were ordered to believers, there are a lot of do and donīt, which guide humanity to a more happy life in this world and a positve eternal life. | |||
| By this every work can become a religous service if it is done according to the will of God and in itīs true intetion. |
