THE CHURCH AND THE SLAVERY:

 

 

Jesus used to lived with the down and outcast of the society. But the opinion of Paul was that every one remains in the status in which was born into. A slave stays slaved and a free stays free.

In the second century, bishop Ignites demanded sadistically that a slave has not only to stay without freedom, but he has to do his slave‑works enthusiastically for god. The free Church teacher Ambrosias names "Slavery" a "god's gift". The also free church‑teacher Augustinus advises the slave to stay poor and to work a lot.

Even the slavery in the USA war explained through the point, that god wanted it and that every one was equal before god. After the dead there was no slavery, But until dead, it has to be done, what has been written in the Holy Scriptures, in order to get into heaven.
