It is said that Jesus had died on a cross, that
is why the cross became the centre of the believe. But no one had tried in the
beginning to present the cross in the art or as a sculpture because this was
the presenting of the most humiliating moment of Jesus.
That Caesar Constantine's had carried the cross
sign as their field signs is another lie in this
game. Only the first two Greek letters of the
name Christos were united,
The cross started to become a symbol for the
love of Jesus, when the people forgot by the time, that thousands were
crucified by Romans.
But how did the cross look like?
lt was an empty cross. No body wanted to be
claimed, that he had crucified Jesus for a second time.
In the fifth century the cross needed more
presentation. So artists began to position a lamb next to the cross. (Jesus as
the lamb of God died for the sins of the world.) Certainly it was a white lamb,
which was to find next to the cross! By the time the white lamb became a lambwhite
Jesus, who was positioned next to the cross.
Except two times he was shown at the end of the
sixth century at the cross. But there was no suffer, no pain and no
humiliation. Jesus was covered with a tunic and only his face, hands and feet
were uncovered. At his hands and feet, you could see in a stylistically way the
nails.
Jesus was not suffering but throwing at the
cross.
There was a Greek presentation of Jesus, which
showed him suffering but this first suffering presentation of Christ was judged
by Rome as a blasphemy. Only a short time later they changed their opinion.
Then they were fascinated by this suffering Jesus.
After the distance between the population and
Jesus, which was created by the church in the middle age, increased
continuously, Jesus had to be shown more human.
Now he was suffering extremely, had deep wounds
and much blood on his body. They reduced his clothes in order to show his
humiliation. He was reduced until his loincloth. Because Jesus was a Jew he was
circumcised and this should not be shown to any one.
So the Jew Jesus became a Non‑Jew.
