WHO WAS THIS JESUS?

The only exact thing which is known about Jesus is that nearly nothing is known about him:

Jesus was not called "Jesus", but "Joshua". Jesus is only the Greek word. In the time of Jesus, the Name Joshua was spoken as "Jeshua". Jeshua is probably the Galleon pronunciation, through which Peter gave himself away, when Jesus was arrested,

It is not known where and when he had lived. The 24th December was established in the Roman empire in the year 325, but not for the honour of Jesus but for the God of the Sun, who was called "Mithras". This shows, that this day has an heathen prehistory. Jesus never claimed to be the Messiah of the Jews. He would have never allowed to call him ThrisC or "Master", because he himself said that you should not call some one "Father" or "Master" because there is only heavenly Father and Master. It is also not known where and when he died. But it is secured, that the place, where the Entombment Church of Christ is standing today, is definitively not the historic place.

The Historians in that time do not know anything about him. The whole non‑Christian first century ‑ the century in which he should have lived ‑ does not write anything about him, No Historian notices his existence. He is not mentioned in Rome, nor in Greek, nor in Palestine. Although much was reported about Palestine in these days. John the Baptist, in contradiction to Jesus is mentioned. So Jesus had to be reconstructed for the Church. By the way, in the days of Jesus the name Jesus" was an as popular name as in other times the Name "Michael", "Muhammed", "David" etc. The Historian Flavius Josephus mentions for example 20 Persons with the name "Jesus".

lf Jesus had lived, and more facts are telling so, then he had lived as a Jew. he was circumcisioned, he did not eat pork‑meat, accepted the Jewish dish‑Iaws and read out of the Thora. There it is written:

Hear, 0 Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord. (Deut 6:4)

Thou shalt have none other Gods before me. (Deut 5:7) and Thou shalt not make thee any graven image.... (Deut 5:8)

(This is the first contradiction of the trinity, but the trinity is being examined later.)

Many have a picture of Jesus which shows him naive, uneducated and peaceful. But this was not the case:

Already at the age of twelve years, Jesus discussed with the educated in the temple. But this is not the only example, which shows, that Jesus was educated. Jesus knew the scriptures and the teaching very good and practices his knowledge. (That the Sabbath is made for the man, and the man is not made for the Sabbath, is already written in the Thora, and not been established by Jesus. He only reminders it to the people!)

He is often called "Rabbi" (my teacher), although he did not liked that. This title was normally used for the knowing one and teacher of the Thora. Carpenter were respected as educated persons in the Judaism and Jesus was most probably a carpenter and the son of a carpenter.

As mentioned above, many people think, that Jesus was most peaceful. But the following examples show, that he also was a man, who would declare violence, if it was necessary:

I am come to send fire on the earth, and what will 1, if it be already kindled'

(Lk 12:49‑53)

"and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.

(Lk 22:3 5 ‑3 8)

"Think not that 1 am come to send peace on earth: 1 came not to send peace, but a sword. For 1 am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household."

(Mt 10.34‑37)

It is also absolute wrong to say, that Jesus wanted to die voluntary on the cross. There is no death‑yawning in the Judaism.

The Baptism

Many Christians, after they have read the gospel according to St Mark, did not knew what they should think about the baptism of Jesus by John the Baptist, because

1. Nearly all of the Jewish intelligence thought him to be mad.

2. The baptism was a baptism to wash away the sins.

That means:

Jesus had a sin‑conscious. That is why he let himself baptised.

That he was according to the teaching of the church absolutely sinless, was often doubted in the early‑Christianity

The argument of the sin‑conscious of Jesus was used in discussions by the Jews against the Christians. That is why in Matthew a try of justification appears. He changes the text in that way, that the Baptist knows about the sinless character of Jesus.

But John forbid him, saying, 1 have need to be baptised of thee, and comest thou to me? And Jesus answering said unto him, Let it to be so now.

But that Jesus never thought about himself to be good and to be without sin, shows this example:

A rich man: "Good Master, what shall 1 do that 1 may inherit eternal life?" Jesus: "Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is, God.

With other words, this text shows, that Jesus does not identificate himself with God. Who he is according to the church teaching.

This dialogue also appears in St Luke and in St Matthew. (Mk 10: 18‑ Lk 18:18, Mt 19:17)
