Irritations in the bibel (part 1):
(These are the commentaries which I found in my
Roman Catholic Bible (Einheitsübersetzung der Bibel ) from 1971. I have quoted
them for you)
2Kings 14,25 He restored the coast of Israel
from the entering of Hamath unto the sea of the plain, according to the word of
the LORD God of Israel, which he spake by the hand of his servant Jonah, the
son of Amittai, the prophet, which was of Gathhepher.

2Kings 15,33 Five and twenty years old was he
when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. And his
mother's name was Jerusha, the daughter of Zadok.
In the 16 years 10
years are already included in which Jotam managed the ruling for his father
(Verse 5) So after the death of Usijas there were not 16 but 6 years of Jotam!
the ignoring of this fact leads to irritations concerning the dates of
peckachs, hoscheas and ahas, which could not be erased by postscript

Mk 16,9 9 Now when Jesus was risen early the
first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had
cast seven devils. 16:10 And she went and told them that had been with him, as
they mourned and wept. 16:11 And they, when they had heard that he was alive,
and had been seen of her, believed not. 16:12 After that he appeared in another
form unto two of them, as they walked, and went into the country. 16:13 And
they went and told it unto the residue: neither believed they them. 16:14
Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them
with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which
had seen him after he was risen. 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all
the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16:16 He that believeth and
is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 16:17
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out
devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 16:18 They shall take up serpents;
and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay
hands on the sick, and they shall recover. 16:19 So then after the Lord had
spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of
God. 16:20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with
them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

Joh 2,13 And the Jews' Passover was at hand,
and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 2:14 And found in the temple those that sold
oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting: 2:15 And when he
had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the
sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the
tables; 2:16 And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not
my Father's house an house of merchandise. 2:17 And his disciples remembered
that it was written, (Ps 69, 10): The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.
2:18 Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us,
seeing that thou doest these things? 2:19 Jesus answered and said unto them,
Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. 2:20 Then said the
Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up
in three days? 2:21 But he spoke of the temple of his body. 2:22 When therefore
he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto
them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.

8,1 Jesus went unto the mount of Olives. 8:2 And early in the morning he came

taught them. 8:3 And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken
in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, 8:4 They say unto him,
Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. 8:5 Now Moses in the
law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? 8:6 This
they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped
down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. 8:7
So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He
that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. 8:8 And again
he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. 8:9 And they which heard it, being
convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the
eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in
the midst. 8:10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman,
he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned
thee? 8:11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I
condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
